Mayor Farrah N. Khan to deliver address March 9th
Irvine, Calif. – Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan will deliver the State of the City Address on Wednesday, March 9, at the Irvine Barclay Theatre (4242 Campus Drive, Irvine).
This City event will begin with a free public reception at 5 p.m., followed by the 2022 State of the City Address at 6 p.m. where Mayor Khan will reflect on accomplishments from 2021 and share initiatives and highlights for 2022.
This year's event, hosted for the first time at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, will also include an interactive experience with Orange County Soccer Club and Handel's Ice Cream, and performances by community organizations including, Cub Scout Pack 675, Irvine High Choir and Chinese Dance Company of Southern California.
"After wrapping up our 50th anniversary last year, we are looking ahead to an exciting future," Mayor Khan said. "I want to thank our partners at the Irvine Barclay Theatre for hosting this event. I am thrilled that we will be shining a spotlight on our community through performances by our youth and local organizations."
