Communications Scholarship Open for Buena Park

High school seniors and current college students

Buena Park, Calif.- If you're a Buena Park resident with a passion to study Communications, now is the perfect time to apply for The Myrna Holmquist Communications Scholarship.

Up to $10,000 in scholarships has been set aside for the program for high school seniors enrolling in or accepted to an accredited college, or a current college student to apply.

This scholarship was established by the Buena Park Cable Foundation for individuals who have a career interest in the Communications field and have a sincere desire to apply their knowledge and leadership abilities to a career within the field of Communications. It was named in honor of the City's long-time Communications and Marketing Manager, Myrna Holmquist.

APPLY: A complete application packet includes letters of recommendation, official transcripts and a written essay. Deadline is April 7, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.
