Online Tool for Helping Choose Your Electric Vehicle

Currently 71 different vehicle models in California

Santa Clara, Calif.- Electric vehicles (EV) are rapidly becoming a standard choice for new and used car buyers. Nearly every major vehicle manufacturer is offering electric options in 2022 and there are currently 71 different vehicle models available in California. We've recently added a suite of tools to our website that will help you understand how much it costs to charge an EV, what models are available and what incentives you may qualify for.

Today's electric vehicles typically come in two forms – all-electric vehicles (EV) that run 100% on electricity and plugin hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) that run on electricity but also have a gas-powered engine that can be used for extended trips.

On our website, you'll find a current directory of EV and PHEV models to help you review price, range-per-charge, efficiency, styles, available incentives and public charging information. We've also included FAQs, information about the key benefits of EV ownership and calculators that help you understand what kind of savings you can expect based on our local gas and electric rates.

Available Incentives

There is currently a Federal Tax Credit up to $7,500 available, along with dozens of state and local incentives.

Save money

In most cases, operating an electric vehicle costs considerably less than a gas-powered vehicle due to lower fuel and maintenance costs. Visit our website to see how much you might save when you switch to an EV.

Convenience

EVs can be charged at home. Imagine never going to the gas station again! All-electric EVs don't require oil changes either.

Environmental

All-electric EVs have no tailpipe. The fuel sources that provide electricity to Santa Clara residents are 100% carbon-free, so you're helping reduce pollution in our community when you switch to an EV and charge at home.

Performance

EVs have tremendous torque and acceleration. They typically have a very responsive feel and are fun to drive.
